Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do the services of the Career Services Center have a cost?
Most of our services are cost free. However, cost-recovery fees apply to some events, e.g. the recruitment fair.
  2. How can I access the services of the Career Services Center?
Employers (any organization with a job opportunity to offer) can access the services of the Career Services Center by registering their information with the UDEM job bank (www.bolsa.udem.edu.mx). Check that your organization does not have a prior registration to prevent user duplication.
  3. Can employers request students’ and graduates’ résumés or profiles?
No, the Personal Data Protection Law states that each person owns his/her data. Therefore, it is necessary for employers to log in to the UDEM job bank to contact the UDEM candidates.
  4. How can I access the UDEM job bank on line?
Go to www.bolsa.udem.edu.mx to register as an UDEM employer. Verify that your organization does not have a prior registration to prevent user duplication.
  5. Are the UDEM job bank and the UDEM-OCC job bank the same thing?
No, the UDEM job bank platform is managed 100% by UDEM’s Career Services Center and the UDEM-OCC job bank platform is managed directly by OCC.
  6. When I try to access the UDEM job bank, the webpage does not display (www.bolsa.udem.edu.mx), what should I do?
Try logging in from a different browser. If you still cannot access the webpage, send a screenshot of the error displayed to vinculacion@udem.edu.mx, with your i.d. data: name of the organization, RFC (tax-payer i.d) of the organization, name of contact, e-mail of contact.
  7. I am having some problems navigating the UDEM job bank site (www.bolsa.udem.edu.mx), what should I do?

  8. My access codes to OCC do not work, what can I do?
Because it is a free service, OCC sets a validity period of one year for the accounts of employers invited by universities. Since the platform is managed by OCC, you should write directly to atencionempresas@occ.com.mx and/or soporte@occ.com.mx.
  9. My organization subscribed to the services of OCC, do I need codes to access the UDEM-OCC job bank?
No, when the organization is a client of OCC services, it includes access to the Red Universitaria del Empleo (University Network for Employment - RUE), where all the universities in the alliance are displayed.
  10. If I already had an account with OCC, will I have to create a new account to access the UDEM job bank?
Yes, the UDEM job bank operates independently from OCC. You will have to go to www.bolsa.udem.edu.mx to register as an UDEM employer.
  11. Is it possible to promote organizations at the UDEM campus?
Yes, provided that the focus is on offering job opportunities to the UDEM talent.
  12. Is it possible to organize recruitment events at the UDEM campus?
Yes, for the massive or individual recruitment of UDEM students and graduates. Send an e-mail to vinculacion@udem.edu.mx to learn about the process and assess the viability of scheduling an event.
  13. What is on-campus recruitment?
It is an event carried out when an organization wishes to start recruitment processes with UDEM students and alumni to fill vacancies posted on the UDEM job bank. These processes can be massive or individual.

    • Individual: a schedule is set for the employer to make appointments with UDEM students and graduates and see them one at a time in the interview rooms of the Career Services Center.
  14. Does UDEM hold job fairs?
Yes, our recruitment fair takes place once every semester, in March and October. An invitation to the event is sent to all employers registered as UEM employers.
