UDEM’s undergraduate degree program in Educational Sciences is the first of its kind in Mexico and the directors of some of the most important educational centers in northeast Mexico have graduated from it. Its theoretical-practical curricular approach is oriented to developing competencies in group management, project coordination, and the management and assessment of educational processes. Our faculty is one of the best in the country (all of its members hold a doctoral degree) and we have agreements with the most prestigious private educational institutions.Objective
To train professionals with a theoretical-practical approach and solid humanistic, cultural, and social foundations that qualify them for the planning, design, implementation, leading, and evaluation of a teaching-learning process.Student Learning Outcomes
- Understand education as a system in order to perform the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation or a person’s development processes (teaching-learning processes).
- Be able to design, implement, and lead educational programs in their different modalities (formal, non-formal, and special education) and in the different levels of the Mexican educational system (initial education, basic education, middle education, and higher education).
- Apply the fundamental elements of the Teaching-Learning process to a person’s development processes at different educational institutions in the different modalities and levels that exist within the educational field.
