SOCIAL SERVICE

It is with great pride that we invite all the students worldwide to participate in the community service programs developed by the Universidad de Monterrey.

These programs offer a unique and enriching opportunity for international students who wish to immerse themselves in the social, historical, and cultural reality of Mexico.
Specifically, active participation in social serve can help you:

  • Support the people who need you most
  • Mature and grow both personally and professionally
  • Gain a greater sense of responsibility, tolerance, and cultural sensitivity
  • Strengthen you curriculum vitae
  • Develop investigation projects
  • Learn Spanish
  • Make friends

PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS

A guided internship in Mexico during your student exchange program will provide a number of benefits, including:  combining academic knowledge with an experience in your chosen field, in a real work environment and under real work conditions and acquiring international experience working in a country other than your own.

Furthermore, you can learn about the conditions and characteristics of work in Mexico, thus understanding another aspect of Mexican culture. You will also gain an important addition to your curriculum vitae and make contacts in your chosen field for future professional activity.

The International Office is currently working on a catalogue of professional options for you. If you are interested in an internship, please do not forget to specify it in the paperwork you will send us.

We need to know the kind of internship you are interested in so we can advise you accordingly. Do not forget that you will be required to attend some interviews in different companies, so please update your curriculum as much as you can.
