Dr. Arturo Azuara is the director of the Law and Social Sciences Division (DECS). He has extensive national and international experience in areas such as industrial property, invention and technology commercialization, exporting and international agreements, consultancy for PYMEs on the legal and juridical framework, and entrepreneurship, among others.
Undergraduate Degree in Law from ITESM ('91), Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialty in International Business from ITESM ('95), Master of Laws from Tulane University ('01) and Ph.D in International and Comparative Law, from the Tulane Law School ('08).
Roberto Lozano is head of UDEM’s Intellectual Property Management Office. He has over 15 years’ experience in the areas of technology innovation and transfer, assessment of market potential, intellectual property protection, and business development.
Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Administration from ITESM ('93), Master’s Degree in Business from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) ('01), and a Master’s Degree in Science and Technology Commercialization from the IC2 Institute of the University of Texas at Austin ('06).
