The specialty in Editorial and Advertising Design responds to the current demand from editorial companies for experts in the marketing, design, and communication areas to set a trend in digital and print media and in the editorial process.
Our commitment is to develop the best creative talent in Latin America, which is why we created the Centro Roberto Garza Sada (CRGS), a space for ideas and expressions where the most brilliant, forward-looking, and creative students from the Art, Architecture, and Design division congregate.
To strengthen the education and training of professionals in the areas of marketing, design and communication who will transfer strategy designs to the print media through the knowledge and analysis of editorial design and of the technological aspects of production and pre-press. They will also participate in the generation of innovative actions that will be incorporated into their professional practice.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Develop basic skills that will serve as foundation, update and adaptation to the environment, ensuring a successful practice.
- Development of specific skills within their area of knowledge, both in the exercise of their professional practice and in their growth within the organizations.
- Students will endeavor into broader areas such as marketing, advertising, product development and, of course, in managing their own businesses or organizations within their work field.
