The UDEM International Fair is part of a series of efforts aimed to support the “internationalization at home” of the UDEM community through extra-academic and co-curricular activities developed on campus.
The UDEM International Fair is organized every year, during the autumn term. It is dedicated to various aspects of the culture of a guest country. It consists of events such as exhibitions, art performances, talks, and panels with guests, student conferences, cinema seasons, gastronomy events and, in general, activities related to academic themes related to the programs offered by UDEM.Objective
The objective of the UDEM International Fair is to promote the internationalization at home of the university community through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which are conducive to the achievement of the following objectives:
Host countries of the UDEM International Fair
- Attitudinal: to appreciate cultures and societies different from ours and to become interested in the problems they face;
- Skills: to interact with people from other cultures in a productive manner, and
- Cognitive: to become acquainted with the ways in which other societies face their challenges and move forward toward the fulfillment of their own aspirations.
