To provide social technology promoting the development of communities through their participation in productive projects and the access to continuing training.KIMAKUL. Supportive Trade Store
Through this project, UDEM is promoting the development of enterprising women. Kimakul supports the marketing and selling of products made as part of the social projects that UDEM promotes through students doing social service in the underprivileged communities served in suburban and rural areas.
By running this supportive-trade store, women can sell the products they make at fair prices, thus supporting their families’ economy.
The products traded include regional candy, costume jewelry, food, and items made with recycled materials. For more information:

This program contributes to alleviate our city’s social and economic problems by:
- Granting micro-loans to women from Santa Catarina N.L. who work out of their homes and stay there as the bases, guides, and pillars of their families’ education.
- Operating with non-profit aims and at the lowest interest rate in the market.
- Providing training in topics related to business and values education to the women benefiting from the program.
Alliances have been established to provide supplementary support to the beneficiaries of the program. Some of the organizations with which we collaborate are:
CAPYF (Villas Asistenciales Soriana), Instituto Nuevo Amanecer, Mariposas, Cáritas de Monterrey and the San Gilberto network of community partners, among others. For more information:
