Recreational Areas

Among the facilities our students use and enjoy on campus is the Physical Education Center.

Our selection of fields, courts, gyms, and other sporting equipment allows the university community to practice soccer, arena soccer, tennis, athletics, volleyball, basketball, swimming, tae-kwon-do, baseball, softball, aerobics, climbing, rappelling, and many other sports.

Cafeterias

The campus has two cafeterias available to you:

• In the Community Center cafeteria you will find food and snacks, as well as cafeteria service and special event catering. This cafeteria is temporarily closed for remodeling.
• La Troya Cafeteria is located at the Administrative building. Here you will find a wide variety of meals: salads, sandwiches, burgers, daily specials, and Chinese food. Right next door there is a gourmet coffee house that serves drinks and desserts. In the morning, you can breakfast on tacos, juices, and shakes.

Copy and Printing Centers

For your convenience, the UDEM has six copy and printing centers serviced by Copimex de Monterrey. These centers offer black-and-white or color photocopying services, color printing, poster and plan printing, duplication, binding, soft and hard cover book-binding, as well as high-volume jobs.

The copy centers are located at: 

• Sombreado (The Shady Area) 
• Community Center 
• Administrative Building 
• Building 6 
• San Pedro Unit

Circuito UDEM Shuttle Bus 

• The Universidad de Monterrey makes it easier for you to come to the campus by offering a private shuttle bus service, free of charge. 
• The Circuito UDEM has a fixed schedule: Monday ¿ Friday from 6:30 to 22:00 during the regular semesters (please double check the schedule). During the summer session, the bus runs only at the peak times, according to the following schedule: 

Block A:	7:00 - 09:00
Block B:	12:00 - 15:00
Block C:	17:00 - 19:00

Directo UDEM (The UDEM Direct Transportation Service)

Directo UDEM offers exclusive, private student transportation service from several places in the metropolitan area to the Pre-University Units and to the UDEM Campus.

All of the Directo UDEM vehicles are recent models, with luxury interiors, and meet strict safety requirements that guarantee your convenience and safety.

These vehicles are driven by professional drivers trained to provide excellent service.

Parking Lots

The parking lot system is operated under concession and it provides comprehensive service. There is 24/7 surveillance and the entrances and exits are monitored with automatic ticket dispensers, magnetic readers, and control barriers.

All users have a guaranteed parking spot, full theft insurance, and basic vehicular assistance in case of a flat tire, dead battery, etc. The semi-annual long-term parking fee allows you unlimited parking lot service during the period.

Bookstore

The Bachiller Bookstore is located inside the Campus, at the Community Center, ground-floor level. It sells text books, general interest works, magazines, as well as office supplies and study equipment. They can import books on request.

Presentations, conferences, and book expos are also held in this facility.
