The Bachelor of Economics helps students master economic theory and its applications. It offers three specializations: Business, Financial, and International Economics.
The program includes mandatory professional practices in global companies, financial markets, and the public sector, enabling students to attain professional experience before graduating.
Objective
To shape professionals that have mastered economic theory and its applications, as well as analytical and critical thinking skills that enable them to excel in their field. These professionals are committed to promoting economic development and wellbeing with an ethical and responsible approach.
Enrollment Profile
The students who enroll in this program are interested in understanding social, economic, and mathematical sciences. They have the following characteristics: an interest in understanding and solving actual economic and social problems, the ability for analysis, strong quantitative and decision making skills, and responsible enthusiasm when facing challenges and commitments.
Graduation Profile
Upon completion of their undergraduate degree, the students will have the following knowledge, skills, and attitudes:

Bachelors of Economics (LEC) are prepared to work in management positions in the business, financial, and public sectors.
In the business sector, economists work in economics, financial, and strategic planning departments, in the areas of analysis and economics, as well as in the areas of international trade and economy.
Bachelors of Economics have a broad range of work opportunities as financial analysts and directors in banks, broker houses, risk-rating agencies, insurance companies, as well as other financial intermediaries.
In the public sector, economists participate in economic studies at the different levels of government, mainly in State Departments and decentralized public institutions.
