The Bachelor of International Trade program provides innovative solutions to international business problems through a holistic and global approach.

Objective

To shape competitive professionals capable of developing innovative and creative marketing strategies based on the financial criteria demanded by their organization. To achieve this, they will gain the ability to analyze market information and to utilize and apply technological tools. In addition, they should possess a genuine, humanist approach to service and be committed to the sustainable development of Mexico.

Enrollment Profile

The students who enroll in this program are natural leader interested in business and in working in cooperative environments. In addition, they are attracted to the areas of sales and commercial strategies. They should be responsible, dynamic and enterprising individuals with the ability to adapt to international multicultural environments. They must also be interested in utilizing technological tools and in communicating both verbally and written.

Graduation Profile

Upon completion of their undergraduate degree, students will have acquired the following knowledge, skills, and attitudes:

Knowledge of: 

  • Preparation of business proposals in a structured, planned, and justified manner. 
  • Design, development, and analysis of market surveys for decision making. 
  • Mastery of information handling in order to separate markets, assess the consumer behavior, and identify potential needs and opportunities. 
  • Preparation and implementation of financial consistency marketing strategies for goods and services. 
  • Preparation of comprehensive communication plans for marketing. 
  • Preparation of market-strategic plans. 
  • Utilizing specialized information technologies in goods and services marketing. 
  • The current social, cultural, and political aspects of Mexico and other countries. 
  • The processes for developing marketing strategies.

Skills for: 

  • Analyzing and solving problems, as well as efficient decision-making. 
  • Working as members of highly-effective teams. 
  • Negotiating and utilizing technological tools for decision-making. 
  • Understanding the significance of financial information and its application to proposed marketing strategies. 
  • Understanding, studying, and analyzing market information in order to propose strategies. 
  • Being innovators in the creation and preparation of marketing strategies with a global vision and a commitment to ethical and socially responsibility.

Each UDEM curriculum is made up of two blocks of courses:

  • Professional studies, these are the specialized, professional courses that make each degree plan unique.
  • General studies, these are the courses that provide a general and interdisciplinary overview.
