The Specialty in Service Quality and Innovation provides students the professional skills required to implement innovative strategies to improve quality and increase competitiveness in the service areas of any business.
Our students train in the use of technological platforms to measure quality and service processes. In addition, they are taught through the collaboration of expert quality and innovation professors and executives and entrepreneurs with professional practice.
The Graduates from the Specialty in Service Quality and Innovation:
- Manage and optimize internal and external services and encourage a culture of quality.
- Incorporate innovation and technology to the quality and service systems and integrate them into the value chain.
- Know the main quality systems in the service field, which enables them to promote strategies to help organizations achieve world-class standards.

Service Management
Objective: Obtain knowledge and learn methodologies to manage service with an approach toward quality. Knowledge of quality and service theories, concepts, methods, and techniques. Application of the above to manage businesses in the best way possible. Leadership styles that promote the changes required by a culture of quality.
Quality Improvement in Services
Objective: Obtain knowledge and skills to conceptualize a service system so the service as a whole can be identified, assessed and improved from a quality and business perspective.
Innovation and Development of New Services
Objective: Understand and apply new approaches to service design, which are based on experience, according to the needs of the client, and incorporating technology.
Strategies of Quality in the Value Chain
Objective: Recognize and develop strategies of quality among the various elements comprising the value chain in service companies or areas.
Quality Models in World-Class Services
Objective: Build quality models to provide competitiveness in manufacturing and service organizations in order to reach world-class quality standards. This will be achieved by analyzing successful models.
The UDEM's demanding admission criteria assure academic excellence in its graduate groups.
The following requirements must be fulfilled to enroll in the Specialty in Service Quality and Innovation:
- Hold a corresponding Undergraduate Degree.
- Have at least two years professional working experience or be an honors graduate.
- Attend an interview with the Business Master's Degree Programs Director.
- Submit your résumé and a cover letter explaining the reasons why you wish to enroll in the Master's Degree program.
- Submit an Application for Admission to the Graduate Program along with the required documentation.
