A Specialty intended for Doctors and Bachelors in Nutrition Sciences. This program is focused on the prevention, detection and treatment of alterations in nutrition, particularly those of obesity and its associated health problems. This program also teaches practitioners how to assess and fulfill the nutritional needs of patients suffering from chronic diseases.
Clinical Nutriology and Obesity specialist should have scientific skills and conduct themselves in a humane manner in order to perform professional activities focused on the prevention, detection and treatment of nutritional alterations, particularly those of obesity and its associated diseases. Practitioners should also be able to assess and fulfill the nutritional needs to fulfill the nutrimental needs of patients suffering from chronic disease.
