The Business Law Master's Degree Program updates knowledge and fosters innovative legal work to support top managerial decisions and encourage the global competitive performance of an organization.
The graduate advises the company in matters of incorporation, organization, and operation, including timely response to the demands of international economic openness and the constantly-changing competitive environment. His or her job is to supply an element of legal certainty in corporate decision-making.
The Business Law Master's Degree Program offers a dual degree in cooperation with the Law School of Pantheon-Assas University, Paris II.
Objective
To train professionals that can complete and transformer the legal work at the center of executive management and increase the global competitive performance of an organization. We seek to train legal professionals specializing in the responsible legal management of companies who are able to offer alternative legal solutions that address the complexities that national and international business organizations face.
The Graduates from the Business Law Master's Degree Program:
- Analyze and solve legal matters using conceptual and practical knowledge, applying national and international information and concepts.
- Develop skills to offer legal and consulting services for companies in the execution of agreements, as well as in patrimonial and financial contracts.
- Apply new law trends for bidding processes, customs law, immigration, stock-market trading, the organization and transformation of corporations, among others.
- Analyze, synthesize, and interpret the legal frameworks that apply to their clients in a responsible and ethical manner.

Juridical Regime of Corporations
Promote theoretical and practical knowledge of the principles regulating Mexican corporations, both public and private.
Juridical Logic and Argumentation
Understand, apply and assess formal logic and legal argumentation methods, from the legal hermeneutic approach.
Civil, Penal and Administrative Responsibility of Corporate Managers
Guide the student toward the legal knowledge of the various civil, penal and administrative responsibilities of corporate managers.
Economic Competition Law
Understand and analyze the legal and political frame applicable to each field of economy, and its effects on the quality of life of citizens.
Fiscal Regime of the Company
Analyze the main fiscal topics impacting the company, their legal procedures and the ways for challenging that are needed for such effect.
Seminar on the Company's Global Trends and Scenarios
Analyze the impact of globalization on the main cultural, legal and international trends and scenarios. Integrate the understanding, analysis and discussion of each of these events in order to find their application in one's current and future professional life.
Seminar on Legal Research
Provide the methodological tools to solve a situation related to the legal environment of a company, in order to provide a research approach and the planning for its dissertation.
Thesis Seminar
Provide the methodological tools to solve a situation related to the legal environment of a company, in order to prepare a written presentation of the research and its oral defense in front of a jury.

| International Commerce Legal Regime Analyze the legal frame of international commerce, and free trade agreements. Analysis of the domestic legal framework projected to import-export operations in order to convey a global vision of Mexico¿s foreign trade. |

| New Technologies Law Study the relationship between Law and Computer Sciences. Analyze the main aspects of the information society. |
100 out of the 546 course hours in the MDE program will be taught by professors endorsed by the University Pantheon-Assas, Paris II.

The UDEM's demanding admission criteria assure academic excellence in its graduate groups.
- Have completed an Undergraduate Law Degree with at least an 85 average.
- Have at least two years of job experience or be an honors graduate.
- Submit your résumé and a written document stating your purposes for studying and your areas of interest. This document must contain three folios.
- Attend an interview with the Law Master¿s Degree Programs Director.
- Submit an Application for Admission to the Graduate Program along with the required documentation.
