If you need more information regarding financial aid, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What are the UDEM's policies regarding financial aid for Graduate Programs?
The UDEM grants financial aid based on proven financial need.

In the cases of financial aid due to economic need, the UDEM's objective is to cover the specific needs of each applicant, offering financial aid package that combines a UDEM Scholarship and a Santander Bank Education Credit.

How can I apply for financial aid?
You must submit the financial aid application along with the required documents. We understand that filling out the application and gathering the required documents may take time and effort, but having this information helps us make a fair distribution of the financial aid resources.

How does the UDEM establish the type and amount of the financial aid awarded?
We perform a detailed analysis of the student and his or her family's financial information; then we apply a formula to help determine their capacity to contribute to the cost of school fees.

It is highly advisable that the applicant and his/her parents/guardians attach a letter explaining any unusual financial circumstances that they would like us to take into consideration when preparing the analysis.

In case of financial need, how is the aid granted by the UDEM?
Financial aid based on financial need may consist of a bank loan, like the Santander Bank Education Credit, or an UDEM Scholarship, which requires that the beneficiary contribute to the UDEM by performing scholarship service in activities coordinated by his or her academic program director.

Financial aid may be a Santander Bank Education Credit, an UDEM Scholarship or a combination of both.

What is the UDEM Scholarship?
It is the type of financial aid in which the students does scholarship work. The student must have a minimum 85 average and obtain 550 points on the admission exam.

What is the Santander Bank Education Credit?
It is a loan granted by Santander Bank. The student must have a minimum 80 average, to be backed up by a guarantor (More than 18 and less than 60 years old) with a good credit record in the Credit Bureau and a verifiable income.

Will I have the same financial aid throughout my studies?
We will periodically review and update the information in your file. However, if there are no significant changes in your financial situation and/or that of your family, the financial aid originally granted will remain the same until you complete your studies.

When will I be notified about the result of my financial aid application?
The dates for financial aid results are posted on the UDEM's Official Calendar.
