Traveling and studying abroad will force you to see your own culture from another perspective. By immersing yourself in another culture in all its facets, you will encourage experiences that promote openness, tolerance, pluralism, and respect. These are essential attitudes for those whom, like you, are seeking to become citizens of the world.

Upon enrolling in the Prepa UDEM, you may choose from among the following: 

• Academic Exchange: By participating in one of these program, you will have the opportunity of studying during a summer season, a semester, or a full academic year in Germany, France, England, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, or the United States, among other countries. The courses you complete abroad will be counted as part of your Prep UDEM coursework.
• International Summer Programs: If you want to initiate or improve your command of a second language, you may choose to study during the summertime in Italy, France, Germany, England, or Canada. 
• International Field Trips: These are group activity intended to strengthen or expand the content of a specific course. For instance, on the trip to the Disney Institute you will conduct experiments inside the amusement park in order to strengthen the knowledge you acquired in your physics class.
