Award criteria

The awards are a motivation for participants to do their best.

In UDEMUN it is highly important to reward those outstanding delegates who made it through our simulation.

There are two awards:

  • Best Delegate: Most outstanding delegate
  • Honor Mention: Second most important delegate

These awards are given by committee, but how to reach it?
The delegate should present certain qualities that would make him qualify for this important mention:

  • Have a wide and clear knowledge from its country and the other ones involved
  • Take the real posture of the country he represents
  • To have domain of the discussed topic
  • Read their position paper and prove that its position goes confidently with his countries beliefs and situation, as well as showing their ability of speaker and persuader
  • Bringing positive ideas
  • Talk with diplomacy, without attacking the rest of the delegates
  • Promote an environment of harmony and fluency
  • Being a leader and take all delegates to solving the problem
  • Respect all of the participants from UDEMUN
  • Being part of the creation of at least one of the resolutions

Remember, the best delegate is not that one who proves knowing it all by embarrass others or discussing with all delegates, but the one who is really devote to solving the problem and makes the committee an environment of real work.

Delegate, success!
