Check out your options for on-campus and off-campus housing!
One of the most frequently asked questions is the one regarding housing. Once you arrive in Monterrey it is possible that you won't have a place to stay, this is why we suggest you to book a place in a hotel or a hostal at least for a couple of days. This will give you time to search for a room, apartment or house suitable for you.
We usually suggest our students to stay at the Best Western Valle Real Hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott, the Monterroco Hostal, or La Casa del Barrio Hostal. Make sure to let them know that you will be attending UDEM so you can get preferential rates.
We think that two or three days are enough for you to find a place to stay for the semester; besides, UDEM has a housing office that offers students help in their search of housing.
One of the options we offer is on-campus residences. The residences include everything students need to feel comfortable (Internet, study halls, air conditioning, green areas, gym, laundry). For information on costs, please send and email to residencias@udem.edu.mx.
If you would rather live off campus, our Housing Office can help you with this. Busco Hogar provides international students with all the information they need to find a place to live off campus, including a list of all the available places nearby the university.
For more information on this, please contact them at buscohogar@udem.edu.mx.
