U.Design has a new name, and a new website this year. The Conference is now known as U.Design.Monterrey in honor of our city, which is poised to become the center for International Design Culture. The site will be continuously updated in parallel to the U.Design.Monterrey Conference this week. The speakers began to arrive last night, with several of them arriving today; some of them taking a side trip to Mexico City, en route to Monterrey.

About this website: udesignmonterrey.com creates an online presence which will promote International Design Culture in Monterrey, and to continue the momentum which will culminate annualy in a Conference. The site will be updated continuously to serve as a calendar of design events in Monterrey throughout the year. Additionally the Community section will encourage direct dialogue between conference speakers, and attendees.

We look forward to your suggestions, regarding the site; and to your active participation which will make this site into a sort of living document of the International Design Community.
