In the Master’s in International Cooperation and Conflict Resolution program, you will learn to analyze, compare, evaluate, manage, and propose international cooperation programs that have an impact on development and conflict resolution in different regions of the world, under an approach based on the respect of human rights and gender perspective. 

Additionally, you will contribute to transforming the theory and practice of international cooperation, conflict resolution, and the problems of unequal development.

Objective

With the Master’s in International Cooperation and Conflict Resolution program, you will enhance your skills to: 

  • Understand global challenges from a critical perspective and identify problems related to inequality and development. 
  • Contribute academically to discussions on development, conflict resolution, and international cooperation. 
  • Assess and manage cooperation projects in public and private spheres at the local, national, and international level.  
  • Communicate problems, projects, and program management to different audiences in an effective manner. 
  • Demonstrate an ability to adapt in different socioeconomic, political, and cultural scenarios. 
  • Compare development and conflict-resolution challenges, as well as cooperation programs in different geographic scenarios. 
  • Implement financing and fund-raising projects that have an impact on the development of communities.

Admission Profile

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree. 
  • Basic knowledge of the international system. 
  • Have a capacity for analysis. 
  • Sensitivity toward social problems. 
  • A command of the English language. 
  • Advisable to have at least two years’ work experience, from your graduation date.

Graduate Profile

Upon completion of this master’s degree program, you will have developed the following knowledge:

  • Theoretical and practical command of international cooperation, development, and conflict-resolution theories. 
  • Theoretical and practical command of methodologies for the creation and management of international cooperation projects. 
  • A global perspective on the local and international dynamics existing in the different regions of the world. 
  • An ability to negotiate with various players and institutions at the national and international level.
