Clinical Simulation Laboratory

You will be able to use nine simulation rooms with Gesell domes and six last-generation robotic simulators, in addition to other medium- and low-fidelity simulators to gain training in medical skills and abilities.

You will analyze the recorded videos that each room has, and you will use the computing equipment that manipulates the physiological reactions of the robots. The robots have a human-like appearance; they moan and show “vital signs” to be read by monitors like those in a hospital emergency room.

Additionally, you will be able to administer intravenous “medications” that you will interpret digitally to evaluate the type of drug and the appropriate dosage. The comprehensive practice center also features three debriefing rooms fitted with projectors so that, together with your professors, you can analyze your performance during the simulated medical care situation you presented.
