Projects and initiatives

This year we contributed to the carrying out of various actions to improve our milieu.


Undergraduate students started their social service internships at 101 organizations, in the online modality. 


Students were recruited and trained to be teachers at the Polytechnic Preparatory Schools, filling 100% of the required teaching positions.


Beneficiaries of the actions and social programs that we have undertaken to create social resilience in vulnerable groups at the local, national, and international levels. 


Adolescents from Secundaria #12 Lic. Ignacio Ramírez (middle school) were attended to by the Factor 360° program. 


Women in a vulnerable situation were trained as entrepreneurs through Kimakul, a social innovation program. 


People benefited from distance educational-psychological care and health care provided through 32 online conferences and 89 videos made by 32 social service students. 


Children’s homes in Latin America received an online course to generate strategies to protect children in these institutions during the pandemic.


People from the community were trained online by the Universidad de Barrios to develop agents of change in their neighborhoods, improve their English, and increase their educational level. 


Sets of groceries were delivered to 652 seniors living in abandonment and who reside in UDEM’s Zona Amarilla (Yellow Zone), in collaboration with HEB, Cáritas de Monterrey, Cornershop, and the Jesús M. Montemayor Foundation.


People benefited from a seminar to present some regional research focused on generating public policies in favor of graduates from children’s homes: More autonomy, more rights. 

Participants in the Diploma Course in Methodologies for the Reconstruction of the Social Tissue.
Broadcasts of the radio program “Hablemos de Trascender” (Let’s Talk about Transcending), with an average of 25,000 listeners.
Community-support and volunteering actions: Together against COVID-19.


Students from the Form to Transform program benefitted more than 2,696 people with their initiatives.
