UDEMUN 2022

Dear Delegates and Advisors,
 
    On behalf of Prepa UDEM, it is my honor to welcome you to the twenty-third Model United Nations of the University of Monterrey and this time the second international online edition of UDEMUN 2022: “Uniting actions to unite nations”, which will it take place on Thursday, February 10th and Friday, February 11th, 2022. My name is Ximena Alvarado and it is my privilege to serve as General Secretary of UDEMUN 2022.
 
    Through UDEMUN, we seek to awaken a social, cultural and political commitment and conscience through debate, teamwork, coexistence and learning. We hope to be part of the academic training of future ethical leaders committed to solve problems that arise today in a peaceful and diplomatic way. In the same path, we encourage participants to take actions to become agents of change in their community.
 
    As humanity, we find ourselves in difficult times. Therefore, today more than ever, we need young people, like you, willing to step out of their comfort zone and put differences of ideology aside to advocate for a world of solidarity, empathy and fairness.
 
    On behalf of the Secretariat and Advisory Teachers of UDEM, we hope that the experiences acquired during these two days of dialogue, teamwork and debate, will give participants the tools and learning necessary to be a responsible member of international society. Likewise, we invite you to continue participating in the event's social networks through Instagram such as @udemun, where information, reminders and updates about the event will be published.
