Upon completion of this course, students will understand descriptive research methodology through the use of qualitative tools , applying the development of the research proposal to the final evaluation project in order to focus it on a real client or on the development of a product or system, within the scope of interior design.

LI 3040 Acoustics

The aim of this course is for students to (1) learn and apply the principles and rules of acoustic design . (2) Understand the nature of the propagation and control of sound and learn the techniques and standards to develop architectural spaces with adequate, functional acoustic designs.

LI 3010 Housing and Building Automation

The aim of this course is for students to (1) understand the different terms in the technical language of smart facilities and get acquainted with the elements of an automated management system. (2) Analyze and understand the objectives of a demotic system and the standards and systems on the market today in order to make a correct choice when implementing an interior design project, taking into account the advantages and disadvantages of the systems and appropriate technical specifications for proper installation.

LI 2090 Technical Representation of Interior Design Installations

Students will learn specialized vocabulary thanks to a vast knowledge of technical topics and materials used in both installations and construction procedures and an adequate representation of these installations and building systems through the graphic language of different free and digital techniques, giving them the ability to communicate a project professionally.
