CO 1015 Cost Accounting Systems

The aim of this course is for students to differentiate and apply the different costing systems used by manufacturing enterprises in accordance with their productive process. Topics such as job order costing and process costing are covered in the course.

CO 1003 Financial Information in Business

The aim of this course is for students to understand and describe the content of financial information as well as its relevance and usefulness for decision making in business management. Additionally, students will be able to relate the effect that the main transactions made by a company have on its performance in terms of the content of its financial statemenst.

CO 1001 Financial and Administrative Information for Engineers

The aim of this course is for students to: (1) Understand the content of financial information as well as its relevance and usefulness for decision-making in business management and company performance evaluation. (2) Be able to apply cost information for planning, control, and decision- making with the objective of increasing business profitability through the development of competitive advantages.

PI 1003 Directed Interdisciplinary Internship

This course aims to establish an interdisciplinary connection between the students and the working environment in which they are expected to continue developing the skills and attitudes acquired throughout their double degree programs. The internship intends to provide students with a space to reflect, discuss, and share their observations and practices in relation to what they have learned in their courses.
