This course aims to analyze and provide students with decision-making abilities in terms of the sustainability and feasibility of competitive projects with social and environmental responsibility.

By the end of the course, students will understand the concepts related to energy and resources and the importance of an ecological view at different scales or levels of integration and its usefulness as regards the subject of energy and resources, their use and effect.

The aim of this course is for students to be able to apply the criteria, knowledge, and responsibilities acquired throughout their academic program to their professional practice.

By the end of this course, students will be able to develop projects in conjunction with students from other design programs and assess collaborative learning. Students will also be able to experience interdisciplinary learning through the development of specific projects with students from the different design programs.

Students will learn and research specific topics for the purpose of going deeply into an area of industrial design in order to identify and broaden their options for professional development.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply methods for the development of product containers, packaging, and distribution in alignment with the intended selling markets. This will be done while considering the sustainability, regulation and certification aspects which support their success in the market.

By the end of this course, students will understand and identify the different types and classifications of products and goods on the commercial market, knowing and understanding the characteristics and end results that users and consumers expect of each type of product.

By the end of this course, students will be able to analyze the needs of the product, the properties and transformation processes of materials to develop and select packaging; thus meeting the needs of the client, the manufacturer, and the market and ensuring compliance with international standards and agreements.

The aim of this course is for students to learn and research specific topics for the purpose of going deeply into an area of industrial design in order to identify and broaden their options for professional development.

By the end of this course, students will understand the 3D solid parametric modeling tools used in the creation of refined models. In addition, students will assimilate usage criteria for the basic development of a product in order to build a prototype or to mass-produce it.
