At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to analyze the economic environment in which companies operate in Mexico by examining its historical evolution, its effects on the performance of companies and possible future scenarios.

At the conclusion of this course, students will understand the entire process of project planning in the tourism sector, identifying needs in market segments considering the perspective of private companies and the public sector, so as to be able to analyze cases of success and failure in the planning of international tourism projects and understand strategy proposals involving decisions of the various tourism stakeholders, from the planning stages.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to examine and understand the theories that have been created over time by the great economists, thereby explaining the operation of the economy.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to understand the factors that make the economic structure of a country change over time, and which therefore cause changes in the design of economic policies as well.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to understand tourism trends and analyze their causes and economic, social and cultural impacts. They will also evaluate patterns of consumer behavior. Additionally, students will analyze recent discussions by the World Tourism Organization on the challenges to this industry.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to analyze economic principles for use in business situations and to obtain information for decision-making. They will acquire economic analysis tools to study practical business cases.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to examine the trends in trade and investment in the world and describe the different theories of international trade and its application in economic growth. They will analyze protectionist instruments and their economic effects on developing countries and the importance and impact of multinational companies.

The aim of the internship is to link students to professional development in accordance with the work field.

This course aims to train students in budgeting financial needs, managing expenses efficiently, making good use of credit, foreseeing undesired contingencies in personal health care, and building a savings and investment plan. Subjects such as the assessment of personal financial health, money management, insurance (life, medical expenses, etc), and basic investment for retirement are covered.
