HU 1311 Nineteenth Century Literature

The aim of this course is to evaluate 19th century literature in order to confirm the influence of the literary process in canonic groundbreaking literary work. The course also analyzes fin-de-siècle literary movements that influenced Spanish American modernism which are echoed in 20th century Latin American literature.

AA 1101 Art Fundamentals

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to have a basic understanding of the history, media, theory, market, and promotion of art, identifying the time when the art work was produced and the techniques with which it was made. The students will also identify mechanisms for the promotion the work of art.

AA 1000 Selected Art Studies

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to gain an understanding of topics that have been relevant to the history of art and that have been significant for having set trends or being representative of their time. The students will become acquainted with the most outstanding aspects of these topics, which will provide a way to assess their importance and contributions to art.

DA 4010 Final Evaluation Program I: Architecture

Upon completion of this course, students will be acquainted with descriptive research methodology through the use of qualitative tools applied to the analysis and design of buildings as well as urban spaces for the purpose of understanding the importance of preparing the architectural schedule, simulation models, analyses of existing similar studies, as well as the architectural design concept document.
