Important considerations about graduate tuition

Spring 2020 Term

Classes start: January 6, 2020.

Late registration

If administrative registration is completed as from January 20, 2020, a late registration fee of $180.00 will be charged per credit registered in the four-month term, regardless of the payment method and the percentage of financial aid that the student may have. This also applies for registration of courses after the beginning of classes. This fee must be paid in full in one single installment and it cannot be covered by any kind of financial aid (scholarship).

Students who present a payment receipt bearing a date prior to January 20, 2020 will not have to pay the late registration fee.

If you have any outstanding debts or blocks, you will not be allowed to register or change courses.

If your administrative study has not been completed by the closing of the late registration period, your schedule will be canceled, and you will not be able to take the four-month term.

Returned checks

A charge of 20% the amount of the check is made, plus the charges that may result to the detriment of UDEM.

Installments due dates

  • February 4, 2020
  • March 2, 2020
  • April 1, 2020

Charge on overdue installment

A charge of $700.00 will be applied upon expiration of due date of each installment.

If you have an outstanding debt by the end of the semester, interest in arrears of 1% will be charged monthly on each installment.

Academic withdrawal

Pursuant to the reimbursement policy for academic withdrawal, a 10% retention charge will be applied for academic withdrawal if you formalize the withdrawal before the start of classes, and 16% retention will be applied for each week of classes that has elapsed, up to a 100% retention. The charge applies to the total cost of the semester and according to the form of payment.

The reimbursement policy for academic withdrawal does not apply to students receiving a scholarship or some type of financial support.

Dual degree in MBA and double diploma in MDE

If you choose the dual degree scheme in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program or the double diploma scheme in the Master of Business Law (MDE) program, you must make an additional payment specified by the Center for Information Services and Student Services (CIAA).
