The aim of this course is for students to: (1) Examine the impact that the decisions made by a commercial banking institution in terms of credit, funding, investment, and operation have on risk/yield. (2) Review risk management in the bank's position for assets, liabilities, and economic return. (3) Use tools for the analysis of financial banking information, receiving instruments and credit, the analysis of the different types of funding used by banks, their credit policies, investment portfolios, and global financial services.
