LI 2050 Interior Design Experimental Workshop I

The aim of this course is for students to analyze and critically evaluate furniture design, manufacturing, components and materials, as well as the basic principles of ergonomics.

LI 2040 Materials for Interior Design

Students will learn to handle different groups of basic construction materials and their properties in order to distinguish their chemical composition and historical development, thus being able to define uses, limitations, and formal possibilities for generating new and future products.

LI 2030 Digital Space Innovation

After completing this course, students will be able to apply 3-D generation tools and parametric design tools properly, enabling the modeling and visualization of prototypes and projects, thus being in control of digital post-production and 3D visualization and the generation of photorealistic images.

LI 2020 Housing Space Studio

Students will become acquainted with and understand the different aspects related to the organization of interior spaces of various types in order to tackle and solve space distribution issues.

Students will become acquainted with, apply, and experience lighting technology, systems, and equipment as well as their principles and design standards.

LI 1060 Building Systems

Students will be able to distinguish the different elements of a building such as structure and facilities as well as the materials with which they can be built, in order to identify the limitations of the elements and building materials.

LI 1050 Technical Representation and Regulations

Students will be able to apply the different free-hand and digital representation techniques through proper and an adequate graphic language and appropriate descriptive systems in order to achieve and correctly present the ideas and designs of projects in two and three dimensions, comprising and taking into account the basic regulations applicable to projects in interior design.

LI 1040 Digital Interior Perspective

The aim of this course is for students to understand and properly apply the terms concerning perspective, obtaining an adequate command of the representation of the three dimensions on a two-dimensional plane; and to understand the logic of the perspective representation which permits solving visual representation problems.

LI 1030 Resolutory Morphology
