The aim of this course is for students to identify the conditions that require surgical intervention of the various body organs and systems as well as to become acquainted with the different therapies and modalities used in the treatment of the critically ill patient.

This course aims to develop skills and abilities to identify and participate in the different treatments according to the knowledge acquired in the Pathology and Medical Surgical Nursing II programs, in critical areas such as hospitalization, surgery, emergencies, intensive care, using the Nursing Care Process.

This course aims to analyze the comprehensive care of patients in the pre-, trans-, and post-surgical stages, as well as of critically-ill patients, applying the importance of the Nursing Care Process to the different diseases of the human body.

This course aims to analyze the major disorders of the organs and systems of the human body, the importance of electrolyte control, as well as skin diseases and some immune disorders, their etiologies, risk factors, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment.

The aim of this course is for students to apply the theoretical knowledge they acquired in the Pathology and Medical Surgical Nursing I program in areas such as Internal Medicine, Endoscopy, Inhalation Therapy, Renal Unit, Outpatient, Oncology, and Chemotherapy. They will also provide psychological and spiritual support to patients and their families, using the Nursing Care Process.

The aim of this course is to analyze the participation of nursing as an important element of the health team in the medical and surgical care areas using the nursing process in the different hospital settings.

Upon completion of this course, students will appreciate the imporatnce of the Nursing Care Process as a fundamental tool for the care of individuals, families, and communities. They will apply it to the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders.

Upon completion of this course, students will have acquired the theoretical knowledge necessary to provide systematic care to healthy or sick children at the different stages of growth and development, based on the ethical tenets, care protocols, and safety standards established in pediatrics services. All of the above in order to identify and set up an assistance plan through nursing care process, based on Virginia Henderson's model.

The aim of this course is for students to apply nursing skills in the pediatric and infectious disease areas, providing direct and indirect care to newborns and providing nursing care for the most frequent childhood diseases.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to determine the elements necessary to provide risk-free care to women and newborns at the three levels of health care, based on the nursing care process.
