At the conclusion of this course, students will integrate efficient diagnoses of and treatments for the most common endocrine disorders, taking into consideration the social reality of their practice. They will also be able to make informed decisions for the prompt referral of patients who requires care from an endocrinology specialist.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to comprehensively address clinical problems that concern clinical neurology to diagnose and treat them in a timely and appropriate manner, and define counter-referral criteria that need the support of a neurologist. This will be achieved through readings, research, participation in specialized seminars and practical case studies and out-patient and in-patient consultation practices.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to competently address major clinical problems that concern rheumatology and demonstrate critical judgment for appropriate specialist referral when the case requires it in order to provide primary care to the patient and promote health and quality of life through readings, research, discussions in class, and out-patient and in-patient consultation practices.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to integrate diagnoses and treatment plans for the most common respiratory diseases as well as to specify referral criteria for pneumonia cases, in order to define which cases require interconsultation with a pulmonologist.

At the conclusion of the course, students will be able to diagnose and treat the most common digestive diseases in order to perform well in clinical practice , and timely channeling the patient warrants specialty consultation . Therefore, through readings , bibliographic research , participation in clinical seminars , preparation of case-based outpatient medical records, and participation in clinical radiology and surgery sessions.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to solve clinical problems involving the Clinical Sciences included in their medical degree program in order to attain a competent performance in patient care and to pass national and international graduate medical specialty tests. At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to organize and reflect on their knowledge of the Basic Sciences to link it with the study of the Clinical Sciences included in their medical degree program in order to attain a competent performance in solving clinical cases of the most common first-contact care diseases and to pass national and international graduate medical specialty tests. Course aims will be achieved through readings, discussions, research, and a clinical reasoning approach to the management of clinical cases.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to take an active, effective role in the care of the growth and development of children and adolescents. They will behave ethically and professionally to protect the health of patients in these age groups and refer them promptly to a specialist in case of abnormal situations beyond their professional competence. Course aims will be achieved through bibliographic research, discussions with problematized clinical cases, group sharing experiences, collaborative work, outpatient consultation practices and duty shifts.
