Students will learn and apply on-location sound recording, dialog replacement, and foley techniques, as well as pre-mixing for stereo and surround sound systems through theoretical analysis and practical exercises to be able to perform adequately in a professional audiovisual production.

Students will understand and apply exposure, lighthing, and photography techniques for the latest technologies of digital cinema capture. They will also become acquainted with the responsibilities and opportunities that cinematographers have for professional development in a digital cinema crew.

Students will acquire and develop basic knowledge, skills, and competencies for the application of methods, procedures, and techniques used in communication research. They will also be introduced to the study and problems of mass communication theories.

This course aims to examine inter-cultural communication proceses and analyze the impact of the international communication flow, within the Mexican context, in order to understand the role of communication in a globalized environment.

By the end of this course, students will understand the close relationship and dependence that exists between communication and marketing as well as its development and implementation in the global work fileld.

Students will understand and apply the basic principles of rethoric and argumentation and the communication strategies needed to achieve an agreement.

Students will understand and apply the theories of persuasive communication, the phenomenom of propaganda, and information campaigns, distinguishing the contexts of their use, intentions and possible effects.

At the conclusion of this course, students will understand the reasons behind the use of public relations as well as their global development and implementation in the work field.
