Our student Antonio Medina, from the School of Medicine, participated in the international congress “American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)” in Denver, Colorado. Representing UDEM he presented his research “Ultrastructural Alterations Produced By Alcohol In The Epithelial Alveolar Type II Cells.

Our student Roberta Faudoa, who is studying the medical doctor program at the University of Monterrey, is doing her undergraduate medical internship in Houston and participated in the presentation of a poster at a plastic surgery congress of the Texas society of plastic surgeons in San Antonio, Texas.

I was told that the exchange would be a unique experience, but I never thought it would be literally. Situations adapt to suit the experience that each person should and needs to live.

Last semester I had the opportunity to go on exchange to the University of Santiago de Compostela, in Spain.

My name is Gianna Licona Acosta and I am in my fifth semester of my bachelor's degree in Work and Organizational Psychology. What I can share about my success story is that I live it day by day, through every class and every project at this University.

I have lived unparalleled experiences during the course of my career that have turned me into a professional student and allowed me to develop in the Human Resources work environment.

My professional internships have been extremely enriching, as they gave me the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in a real environment.

Throughout my four years in the LPT career, I have had the opportunity to live diverse experiences in the university that have been key to my professional and personal growth.

Being part of the student group SEQUENCE allowed me to disseminate highly relevant topics, such as “Transgender people and their psychological care” and “Trauma and the traumatic in psychology”, among others.
