CS 2420 Mexican Political System

This course aims to analyze the characteristics of the political system which originated from the Mexican Revolution and the transformations it has undergone, passing from a corporate scheme to a scheme of alleged electoral competition. Additionally, the course will analyze the formation of the political elite, the "Revolutionary Family", the origins of the state party and the construction of authoritarian presidencialism.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to use advanced techniques to create advanced visual effects, such as motion tracking , integration of computer-generated elements , particles, rotoscoping , matte painting, puppeteering techniques, green or blue screens, and digital composition to produce a visual effects short through the use of various specialized computational tools.
