If you are an outstanding student pursuing the undergraduate degree program in Architecture or Civil Engineering at UDEM and you have verifiable financial need, GP Vivienda offers you support to continue your education.

 

Who can apply for this scholarship?

  • 6th, 7th, and 8th-semester students from the Universidad de Monterrey’s undergraduate degree programs in Architecture and Civil Engineering.

  • Students who do not have any type of scholarship or who receive a financial support lower than 50%.

What are the benefits?

  • Scholarship covering 25% of the total cost of tuition. The scholarship will be in effect as from the sixth semester and until you graduate, provided that you meet all of the scholarship renewal requirements.

  • No additional study-work service (scholarship internship) is required.

  • It does not imply any professional commitment to GP Vivienda.

If you are a suitable candidate, how can you apply?

  • Maintain a grade point average of 85 or higher for every semester.

  • Carry a full course load in the semester.

  • Prove that you face high economic needs.

  • Complete and submit the application for financial aid and its attachments, at the Center for Information Services and Student Services (CIAA), located at UDEM’s Estoa Building, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

  • Complete this form.

  • Take the psycho pedagogical profile, psychometric, and vocational guidance tests, and other specific tests required.​

  • Submit the data use authorization form.

  • Submit the image use authorization form.

  • If you are chosen as a scholarship recipient, come over to sign the letter of commitment.

What must you do to renew your scholarship?

  • Maintain a grade point average of 85 or higher.

  • Pass all courses.

  • Carry a full course load in the semester.

  • Not to drop any courses during the semester.

  • Participate in institutional events promoting social responsibility and the sense of belonging, such as Gente UDEM, Soy UDEM, Más Manos por tu Comunidad, to name a few.

  • Before the end of each semester, address a letter to your scholarship benefactor, mentioning the relevant learning and challenges of the semester taken.

  • Comply with UDEM’s regulations and statutes.
