This course aims to have students apply theoretical knowledge and skills to interior design through a new construction project with high programmatic complexity where previously acquired knowledge and skills are unified to produce proposals of a high standard as concerns conceptual, programmatic, and technical issues.

The aim of this course is for students to (1) learn and apply the principles and rules of acoustic design . (2) Understand the nature of the propagation and control of sound and learn the techniques and standards to develop architectural spaces with adequate, functional acoustic designs.

Students learn the basics of design coming be able to develop the concept , planning , presentation, and management of a project of institutional space and thus to give more meaning to the practice of design.

The aim of this course is for students to (1) understand the different terms in the technical language of smart facilities and get acquainted with the elements of an automated management system. (2) Analyze and understand the objectives of a demotic system and the standards and systems on the market today in order to make a correct choice when implementing an interior design project, taking into account the advantages and disadvantages of the systems and appropriate technical specifications for proper installation.

Students will learn about and discuss the concept of sustainability from different areas of application to be able to have a comprehensive vision developed from the interior of conceptual form, technique, production, and use of both objects and space, thus understanding the impact of sustainable design.

Students will learn to design a large-scale public business space implementing the fundamentals of space design , through concept development, planning , presentation, and project management in order to make the practice of design more meaningful.

Students will learn specialized vocabulary thanks to a vast knowledge of technical topics and materials used in both installations and construction procedures and an adequate representation of these installations and building systems through the graphic language of different free and digital techniques, giving them the ability to communicate a project professionally.

Students will be able to understand the technical data for the calculation and design of the installations of an interior project complementing knowledge with the enforcement of existing official regulations and achieve a proper use of the technical vocabulary of each area. Likewise, they will identify existing needs for approaching the design and implementation of installations and generate a list of suppliers and installers of each type of installation.

The aim of this course is for students to understand and apply the different materials that can be used in the development of an interior space for constructive, finishing, and final presentation purposes, for the different areas.

The aim of this course is for students to understand and analyze scientifically and methodically the most relevant events and productions in the history of art in Mexico, from pre-Hispanic times to the present day, in all genres, with particular emphasis on interior design.
