In the spring of 1995, a group of parents who had children with special needs asked the Educational Services Program of the Graduate Program in Education at UDEM to open a space for the academic growth and the development of these young people.

Since then, PISYE has grown and become stronger each year. At present, the inclusion program is part of the Education Department of UDEM’s Education and Humanities Division.

UDEM has a modern Sociology program in place. Our program is a leader in educational quality, with a highly humanistic sense. It strictly complies with the values of justice, equity, truth, honesty and respect of dignity. LSO faculty members hold doctorates in Art, Social Sciences, Philosophy, History, Sociology, and Theology. Therefore, we are recognized as the University of the Humanities at the national level.

In the Bachelor’s degree in Psychopedagogy at UDEM, you will apply support programs for success in the training of students at various educational levels, which will enable you to become oriented to the diagnosis of and intervention in learning problems and special educational institutions, as well as to personal guidance and advice to educational institutions.

Through the Bachelor’s Degree program in Film and Digital Production, you will be able to conceptualize and develop comprehensive film-making projects that arise from an understanding of audiences and the film-making industry in order to enter cinema production, distribution, exhibition, and marketing, either as a freelance agent or by creating your own company through the mastery and application of cinematic theories, techniques, and languages.

Through the bachelor’s degree program in Educational Sciences (LED), you will develop a theoretical-practical approach with a humanistic foundation.
