OD 4015 Oclussion II

This course aim is for students to: (1) Understand the health function of the stomatologic system and its parts, so that its equilibrium and correct function can be maintained. (2) Apply acquired knowledge to prevent and/or correct alterations of the preserve the Stomatognathic System, proposing prevention and/or therapeutic management mechanisms as appropriate. (3) Apply theory directly with patients in a dental clinic.

OD 4010 Prosthodontics I

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply acquired knowledge to perform rehabilitation with fixed and removable partial proshteses. They should distinguish the different branches of prosthetics and their relation with various branches of Dentistry. They will also be able to classify the different techniques and preparations of fixed dental prostheses, analyzing the components of a fixed dental prosthesis and a removable dental prosthesis, using different printing techniques and materials.

OD 3040 Oclussion I

The aim of this course is for students to understand the health function of the Stomatognathic System and the parts that make it up in order to preserve their balance and correct function, applying their knowledge to preserve it and correct the factors that may alter it by developing preventive therapies and corrective solutions.

OD 3035 Stomatological Propedeutics

Students will learn and properly perform methods and techniques of patient exploration for the purposes of obtaining data, discriminating normal data from pathological data, registering the data in a legal document called Clinical History, identifying and listing patient problems, interpreting requested laboratory and imaging tests of patients, reaching the scientific judgment called diagnosis, issuing a prognosis and a treatment plan, and developing an appropriate medical personality.
