Last year I had the opportunity to travel to New York and Washington to learn about the functioning of International Organizations in a practical way”.

Marcela Molina, an International Relations student, has different experiences at the University of Monterrey such as being president of the student society:

At UDEM I have had the opportunity to develop myself in different spaces and activities inside and outside the country.

I am currently in my 4th semester of International Relations. In Prepa I won the award for Best Delegate in UDEMUN 2018 later on. 

Studying at UDEM has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life.

UDEM formed me since Prepa (Prepa UDEM USP) and turned me into the human being and law degree professional that I am today. The university gave me too many tools, skills and experiences; it also introduced me to great friends, classmates and teachers. Trying to narrate the best moments I lived at UDEM is impossible, because I had the fortune of living unforgettable experiences throughout almost 8 years.

She holds a law degree and a Master's degree in Business Law from the Universidad de Monterrey, and a Master's degree in Human Rights and Democracy from the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences).

She has training in international trade law from the Université Pantheón-Assas Paris II, in human rights and gender equality in policies, programs and projects from the Organization of American States and in the Inter-American human rights system from the UNAM.

One of the many enriching experiences I have had at UDEM was going to Hungary as an exchange student for a semester. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. 

At UDEM I have had an infinite number of possibilities to aspire to be my best version. UDEM has been part of my professional and personal development since high school, being an essential factor for the person I am today. 

Thank you UDEM for everything, for making your campus a safe and inclusive space, and for reminding us to enjoy ourselves.

UDEM has definitely helped me to undertake my leadership and service through the activities they promote.

Thanks to UDEM I have been part of the CanCham Universitario student chapter, I participated in the Diploma in Human Rights, and thanks to one of my professors I even got to do an internship at the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Feminicides and Crimes Against Women. 

Since I entered the university, I was attracted by the different opportunities that there were in student groups, since I have had the taste for service to my classmates as well as to improve my skills as a student and person.

I am a student of International Relations in my 6th semester. I started in the group C-LRI 2021, I was in the Student Society of my career 2021-2022, as well as I have been in groups such as ACI, DIME Project. Currently I am part of the management FEUDEM 2023, in the position of academy commission.
